Spiritual Sexual Shamanic Practitioner Training The Practitioners training is held at Oceans Echo Luxury Villa Fish Hoek, Capetown SA Dec 6 - 11, 2010
This is a 5-day Training to support and further the Sacred Sexual Healing Arts and its practitioners, trainees, and seekers. Training starts immediately following the 2nd Annual African Sex & Consciousness Conference.
Baba Dez is the founder of the Sedona Temple and School of Temple Arts and the Annual Sex and Consciousness Conferences for sacred sexual healers, Tantra teachers and practitioners. Shakti Malan (Ph.D.) is a highly experienced Dakini or conscious sexuality teacher. Her practice is based in Cape Town and she teaches internationally in the UK, the USA and Canada. This training is aimed at men and women who are dedicated to the ongoing practice of evolving consciousness and embodying bliss, and who support others on this path. Central to this are presence, personal empowerment, emotional intelligence, sexual wholeness, and a lifestyle which honours the interconnectedness of all things. Acknowledging and embracing one’s shadow (or un-integrated psychological material) is the cornerstone of this work.

Who is appropriate for this program? Both adepts and beginners will not want to miss this powerful and compelling week-long program. It is appropriate for those who wish to work with sexuality and consciousness professionally, and for those who choose to walk the path informally. For those who have already begun their personal development with sacred sexuality and integrative wellness, this course will prepare you to move with confidence, presence, and power in private sessions. For those who are just beginning their walk, this course will serve as an evocative initiation and will provide a solid foundation from which to take the next steps. You will need some experience of tantra and/or a professional training in healing.
Becoming a teacher or facilitator in the field of sexuality and consciousness is a lifelong journey. Please note that, while this training will give you a valuable opportunity to do your own inner work and introduce you to some valuable tools, we do not suggest that this training on its own will qualify you to become a Daka/Dakini or conscious sexuality teacher.
How will the workshop be structured? Each day will be a mixture of verbal teachings, personal sharing, experiential exercises, and ritual practice. Together we create a safe and grounded field in which to do the work of embodying our own divinity and power. As you learn the tools to accelerate your own evolution and deepen your container, you will hold the space for your clients more effectively.
While your instructors will provide ample structure and direction, there is also room for input and co-creation with students. The hours of teaching will be adjusted and finalized on our first day together.
Self-Responsibility and Empowered Communication: The empowering skills that will be developed in this training will not only help each participant to respond to clients or students with respect and self-responsibility, but also teach you to guide your students into a clear, mutual, and safe agreement in order to create a strong container for sacred ritual and assist you in clarifying and maintaining your role in the session. You will be given the opportunity to assess and understand your own current physical and emotional state while noticing, acknowledging and trusting your boundaries, limits and choices.

Please be aware that the training you receive in this intensive is designed to give you the foundation and tools to begin offering your services and teachings to others. We do not guarantee that you will feel ready to start working as a professional guide. Although we issue a certificate of course completion, we do not feel it is ethical or appropriate to certify anyone as a practitioner, Daka, Dakini, or Guide. If and when you do feel inspired to start working on this vocational path, what we teach in this training will support you to make your investment back in very short amount of time!
Training start time for Dec 6, 2010 is 1pm. Full days meet 10am-6pm. Dec 11, 2010 closing ritual is 8am-10am. Villa check out is 11am.
