The 7 Chakras

CHAKRA ONE: MULADHARA – EARTH

At the base of the spine, this chakra forms our foundation. When healthy, these chakras bring us energy, effect6iveness, spontaneity, and non-dominating power.

CHAKRA TWO: SVADHISTHANA – WATER

The second chakra is located in the abdomen, the lower back, and sexual organs. It is related to emotions and sexuality and connects us to others through feeling, desire, sensation, and movement. Ideally it brings us depth of feeling, sexual fulfillment and the ability to accept change.

CHAKRA THREE: MANIPURA – FIRE

This chakra is known as the power chakra, located in the solar plexus. It rules out personal power. When healthy, it brings us energy, effectiveness and spontaneity

CHAKRA FOUR: ANAHATA – AIR

This is called the heart chakra and is the middle chakra in the system of seven. A healthy fourth chakra allows us to love deeply, feel compassion, and have a deep sense of peace and centeredness

CHAKRA FIVE: VISHUDDA – SOUND

Creative identity and oriented in self-expression, this chakra is located in the throat and there fore really to communication and sound representing language.

CHAKRA SIX: ANJA – LIGHT

Archetypical identity and self-reflection, this is the brow chakra or third eye center. When healthy it allows us to see clearly and understand archetypical levels.

CHAKRA SEVEN: SAHASRARA – THOUGHT

This is the crown chakra that relates to consciousness as pure awareness. It is our connection to the greater world beyond and when developed brings us knowledge, wisdom, understanding spiritual connection, and bliss.
