Educational Courses for
Couples Massage
This 2-4 hour course is intended to assist couples in deepening their level of intimacy through therapeutic touch. Through this course, couples will learn how to:
- be comfortable with giving a massage to your partner through learning various techniques to empathically, lovingly, and empathically give an amazing massage.
- create sacred space and optimum comfort for the giver and receiver during the massage.
- communicate through non-verbal and non-confrontational means to convey one another’s needs of touch.
- effectively use a feather touch, Swedish/deep tissue massage, shiatsu massage, releasing techniques of polarity, and lomi-lomi massage techniques.
- hold space for your partner for physical, emotional, and spiritual release.
- be present to one another’s needs.
For couples, the 2-4 hour class is $200 per hour. Classes for individuals are offered at a rate of $150 per hour. Should you have any additional questions, please contact the Sedona Temple with your inquiries.
