Classic Swedish Massage
Great for stress reduction relaxation, sleep inducement and
improved circulation. This can be combined with areas of deep tissue work,
Cranial Sacral, Reiki energy work or Reflexology.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue techniques are used on specific muscle groups that are chronically
tense. The pressure should “hurt good” and is always adjusted to the client’s
pain tolerance level. It is a very effective way to deal with nagging painful areas.

Cranial Sacral
A very subtle yet effective form of bodywork that focuses on the flow
of cerebral spinal fluid from the top of the head to the base of the spine. It is
done with a very light touch and with the intention of opening blockages and
increasing the flow. This has been very effective in treating headaches, balance
problems, and whiplash trauma.

Temple Signature Treatment
This session incorporates Swedish, deep tissue, Neural
Muscular release, Thai massage, reflexology, Chinese acupressure and lomi lomi.
For a taste of all that the therapeutic massage world has to offer, we highly
Recommend this treatment. The treatment closes with a ten minute guided
breathing exercise and meditation. A 1 ½ hr session is recommended but the
session can still be a fulfilling experience in 1 hr.

Chinese Cupping
A technique from Chinese medicine used to move stagnation in
the body. Much of illness and physical trauma in the body is attributed to
a lack of movement of chi. Through the use of special suction cups fluids
are drawn from deep in the tissue to the surface of the skin, allowing fresh
blood and oxygen to enter the stagnant tissue. The therapist alternates
between cupping and Swedish massage to create a steady movement of
detoxification.

Aromatherapy
In our Aromatherapy sessions, we use only the highest grade medicinal aromatherapy oils incorporated with deep tissue or Swedish massage. Sessions last for 1 ½ hours. The elation and relaxation experienced through using the oils is a deep and profound experience.

Chakra attunements with Soma Energetic Tuning Forks
With a blend of conscious depth and intuitive guidance, Amalia’s incorporates a broad range of healing techniques including Reiki healing, Chakra balancing, auric clearings, tuning forks and breath awareness. Amalia draws upon shamanic and earth based wisdom with a strong emphasis on the breath for clearing, activating and the embodiment of energy. This treatment begins with Foot Reflexology, then a shoulder, neck and head massage and ends in the heart, merging the lower chakras and upper chakras into the centeredness of the heart.

Is a natural and safe method of reading the Iris (the colored portion of the eye, it’s patterns, markings discolorations), which correlates to the corresponding organs, tissues and functions of the body. It is an effective and efficient tool for determining physiological causations of imbalances and nutritional deficiencies. In these readings, Amalia gives Corrective Nutritional and Naturopathic advice to support the well being of your body.

Foot Reflexology
Massaging the reflex points on the feet, stimulates and balances the corresponding organs in the body. It is an efficient tool for the restoration and regeneration of body, mind and spirit. It assists in the breakup of toxic crystal aggregates, which accumulate in the feet and block the nerve pathways to correlating areas, which impedes proper nerve flow.
Massage opens up the “souls” of the feet to connect more deeply with the Earth.

Shirodhara
Shiro means “head” and dhara means “pouring of oil.” Herbalized oil is poured over the forehead at a specific temperature with a “dhara” or stream at a specific height and width for a set period of time in a body specific pattern. During this treatment the brain waves become synchronous, the metabolism is lowered and the nervous system disarmed so that the deepest level of healing can be accessed. This is the ultimate method to empty the mind.
